This first version of the Electronic
Rain-chime was created using
open-source microcontroller technology,
an anemometer, and sound transducers.
The C/C++ code for this piece pairs
individual numerical wind speeds with
electronic musical MIDI notes to
produce ethereal sounds. Version
Two will aim to develop the
sculptural housing further while
utilizing 3D print technologies.
